RAGE

Fueron formados en 1983 con el nombre de Avenger,cambiando al nombre de Rage en 1986.
Esta banda de Heavy/Speed/Power Metal fue fundada por el bajista y cantante Peter 'Peavey' Wagner (Alemania,22 Dic,1964).
La formación la completan el guitarrista Victor Smolski  (Bielorrusia,1 Feb,1969) desde 1999.
Victor Smolski es hijo del famoso compositor de música clásica Dimitri Smolski. También es piloto profesional de coches de rally.
El bateria es André Hilgers (Alemania,30 Ago,1974) desde 2007.
Sus letras tratan de arqueología,(una pasión de 'Peavey' Wagner),temas humanos o ciencia ficción.
Son uno de los grupos más prolíficos dentro del Metal,con 19 álbums de estudio grabados,10 EPs y varias demos,compilaciones y discos en directo. En total tienen más de 200 canciones compuestas en su carrera.
Desde la entrada de Smolski en la banda,ganaron musicalmente,haciendo más duros y técnicos sus temas.
Son una banda casi de culto,por su entrega,profesionalidad y grandes composiciones que les hacen únicos.
A lo largo de estos años han cambiado mucho de formación. Casi siempre han sido un trio.
En Rage han tocado músicos como: el bateria Jörg Michael (Devil's Train,ex-Stratovarius,ex-Axel Rudi Pell,ex-Grave Digger,ex-Running Wild,ex-Saxon) desde 1983 hasta 1987.
El guitarrista Manni Schmidt (ex-Grave Digger) desde 1987 hasta 1993.
O el bateria Mike Terrana (Tarja,Hardline,ex-Masterplan,ex-Yngwie Malmsteen,ex-Metalium) desde 1999 hasta 2007.

Su mascota,la cual ha salido en muchas de sus portadas,se llama 'The Soundchaser',y es un hibrído de esqueleto y maquina.
Su ilustrador de portadas habitual es Andreas Marschall (Kreator,Hammerfall,King Diamond,Blind Guardian,Grave Digger,etc...).
Actualmente están fichados por el sello Nuclear Blast.
Tienen muchas colaboraciones con la Lingua Mortis Orchestra,tanto en directo como en estudio.

The current line up is completed by the guitarist Victor Smolski (Belarus,Feb 1st,1969) from 1999.
Victor Smolski is son of the famous classic music composer Dimitri Smolski. He is also a professional rally car driver.
The drummer is André Hilgers (Germany,Aug 30th,1974) from 2007.
Their lyrics speak about archaelogy (a passion of  'Peavey' Wagner),human issues or fiction science.

From the entrance of Smolski to the band,they won muscially,making more hard and technical its songs.
They are an almost cult band,for their dedication,professionalism andgreat compositions that makes them unique.
