Lion fue una banda de Hard Rock/Heavy Metal formada en Los Angeles,California (Estados Unidos).
Se fundaron en 1983 y se separaron en 1989.
Grabaron dos LP's. "Dangerous Attraction" en 1987 y "Trouble In Angel City" en 1989.
En 1986 grabaron el tema para la pelicula de animación "The Transformers:The Movie".
Por la banda pasaron los siguientes músicos: el cantante Kal Swan,los guitarristas Doug Aldrich y Tony Smith,los bajistas Jerry Best y Alex Campbell,y el bateria Mark Edwards.
