THE POODLES

 

The Poodles es un grupo de Hard Rock formado en 2005 en Estocolmo (Suecia).
Están fichados por el sello AFM Records y han realizado cinco discos de estudio. "Tour De Force" de 2013 és su último álbum.
En 2006 participaron en el Melodifestivalen con la canción 'Night Of Passion',quedando en cuarta posición. Quién gana este festival representa a Suecia en Eurovision.
En 2008,su tema 'Raise The Banner' fue elegida canción oficial del equipo olimpico Sueco en las olimpiadas de Beijing (China) 2008.
La actual formación es: Jakob Samuel (voces)(ex-Talisman,bateria),Henrik Bergqvist (guitarras)(ex-Tiamat),Pontus Egberg (bajo)(ex-Lion's Share) y Christian Lundqvist (bateria).
Pontus Norgren (guitarras)(ex-Talisman,ex-Jeff Scott Soto),estuvo en la banda de 2005 a 2008. Actualmente toca en Hammerfall.

In 2006 they participated in the Melodifestivalen with their song 'Night Of Passion',staying in fourth position. Who wins this contest representing Sweden in Eurovision contest.
In 2008,their song 'Raise The Banner' was chosen official song of the Swedish team for the olympic games in Beijing (China) 2008.

Pontus Norgren (guitars)(ex-Talisman,ex-Jeff Scott Soto),was in the band form 2005 to 2008. Currently he plays in Hammerfall.
