DEF LEPPARD

Hablar de Def Leppard es hacerlo de una leyenda del Rock mundial.
Esta banda formada en 1977 en Sheffield,Inglaterra (Reino Unido),comenzaron tocando Hard Rock.
En los '80 se tornaron más melódicos y se trasladaron a Estados Unidos.
Han vendido más de 100 millones de discos en toda su carrera,y dos de sus discos,"Pyromania" e "Hysteria" han llegado a disco de diamante.
Han realizado diez discos de estudio,dos EPs,dos discos en directo y cinco recopilaciones.
A principios de los '80 empezaron a trabajar con el famoso productor John 'Mutt' Lange,con quién cosecharían sus mayores éxitos.
En 1982 rodaron el videoclip del tema "Bringin' On The Heartbreak",el cuál fue uno de los primeros videos de Heavy Metal en ser emitido por la cadena MTV.
El 1 de Enero de 1985,el bateria Rick Allen pierde un brazo en un accidente automovilístico.
En Agosto de 1987 salió a la venta el álbum "Hysteria",teniendo Rick Allen una bateria adaptada a su discapacidad. Este álbum ha vendido más de 20 millones de discos. Además ha sido el único álbum junto con "Thriller" y "Bad" de Michael Jackson y "Born In The USA" de Bruce Springsteen,en tener siete canciones dentro del US Hot 100 Singles de Estados Unidos.
El 8 de Enero de 1991,el guitarrista Steve Clark muere a los 30 años,debido a la combinación de medicamentos y alcohol.
El último disco de estudio que ha grabado es "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge" en 2008.

El guitarrista Vivian Campbell (Belfast,Irlanda del Norte,UK-1962)(ex-Dio,ex-Whitesnake) desde 1992.
