Esta banda de Metal Moderno/Metal Alternativo se formó en Des Moines,Iowa (Estados Unidos) en 2002.
Destrophy han grabado cuatro discos de estudio y un EP.
Están fichados por el sello Victory Records.
Actualmente tan solo Aristotle 'Ari' Mihalopoulos (voces y guitarras) fundador del grupo,permanece en la formación. Desde 2012 la banda está inactiva.
Han pasado por la banda músicos como:
Los guitarras Eric Tisinger,Kevin Smith y Bruce Swink.
El bajista Phil Tschechaniuk.
Los baterias Ryan Berrier y Joe Fox.
