Prophet se formó en 1985 en New Jersey (Estados Unidos),y se separó en 1991.
Esta banda de Hard Rock Melódico,realizó tres álbums de estudio. "Prophet" en 1985,"Cycle Of The Moon" en 1988 y "Recycled" en 1991.
