En el año 2001,el guitarrista Konstantinos Karamitroudis (Grecia,1980) alias Gus G (Ozzy Osbourne,Firewind,ex-Dream Evil),formó su proyecto en solitario de Heavy Metal/Shred.
El primer álbum "Guitar Mater" de 2001,fue enteramente instrumental. En 2014 ha editado el álbum "I Am The Fire",en el cuál colaboran cantantes como Jeff Scott Soto (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen),Tom Englund (Evergrey),Michael Starr (Steel Panther) o Mats Levén (Candlemass,ex-At Vance). Los bajistas David Ellefson (Megadeth),Billy Sheehan (Mr.Big,Steve Vai) o el bateria Daniel Erlandsson (Arch Enemy).
