The Contortionist es una banda de Metal Progresivo formada en Indianapolis,Indiana (Estados Unidos).
Se fundaron en 2007 y han realizado tres EPs y tres álbums de estudio. El último "Language" en 2014.
Como curiosidad,el actual cantante és el cuarto del grupo en siete años.
