The Kindred es una banda de Metal Progresivo formada en Ottawa.Ontario (Canadá).
Se fundaron en 2005 con el nombre de Today I Caught The Plague,cambiando en 2011 su nombre.
Han grabado un álbum en 2011 como T.I.C.T.P.,y otro en 2014 como The Kindred.
Están fichados por el sello Sumerian Records.
