Virgin Steele es una veterana banda de Heavy/Power Metal formada en 1981,en Long Island,New York (Estados Unidos).
Actualmente están fichados por el sello Steamhammer Records.
Han realizado trece discos de estudio,dos EPs y tres recopilaciones.
La actual formación es:
David DeFeis (voces,teclados y bajo) miembro fundador desde 1981
Edward Pursino (guitarras) desde 1985
Frank Gilchriest (bateria)(Riot) desde 1994
Joshua Block (guitarras) desde 2000
