Javelin se formaron en Hamm (Alemania) en el año 1982.
Esta banda de Power Metal Progresivo solo ha editado dos EPs en 1997 y 2009,y el álbum de estudio "Fragments Of The Inner Shadow" en 2013.
Están fichados por el sello Pure Underground Records.
