Kiss es una veterana y mítica banda de Hard Rock.
Se formaron en Enero de 1973 en New York city,New York (Estados Unidos).
Han realizado 24 discos de estudio,6 discos en directo,14 recopìlaciones,y 41 videoclips oficiales a lo largo de su carrera.
Han conseguido 30 discos de oro de la RIAA,y se considera la banda de Estados Unidos con más cantidad.
Han vendido más de 40 millones de discos en Estados Unidos,y más de 100 millones en todo el mundo.
Con su cuarto disco titulado "Alive!" de 1975,empezaron conseguir fama y popularidad.
Desde sus comienzos han destacado por su maquillaje y vestimenta. Sus directos siempre han tenido sangre ficticia,mucho fuego,y pirotécnia.
Se dice que son la banda que más variedad y cantidad de merchandising han vendido en la historia de la música.
También es muy grande su número de fans,y famoso su club de fans oficial "Kiss Army".
Dejaron el maquillaje entre 1983 y 1996,cuando decidieron volver a usarlo.
