Liquid Tension Experiment is a Technical/Progressive Metal/Rock band.

They were formed in 1997 in New York,New York (United States).

In  March 2021 they will release "3",their 3rd studio album.

They are signed by the label InsideOut Records.

The line up is:

John Petrucci (guitars)(Dream Theater)

Tony Levin (bass and chapman stick)(King Crimson)

Mike Portnoy (drums)(Sons Of Apollo,ex-Dream Theater) 

Jordan Rudess (keyboards)(Dream Theater)
