Galneryus es una banda de Power Metal con claras influencias de música Neoclásica.
Todos los músicos atesoran una gran calidad musical,la cuál se puede escuchar en sus composiciones.
Admiten entre sus influencias a bandas como X Japan,Stratovarius o Sonata Arctica.
La banda se formó en Osaka (Japón) en 2001 por el guitarrista Syu (23 Sep,1980),al que se unirian el bateria Junichi Sato (19 Abr,1971) y el teclista Yuhki (17 Mar,1970).
En 2010 entrarían al grupo el cantante Masatoshi Ono (29 Ene,1967) y el bajista Taka.
Han grabado once albums y seis EPs (tres de ellos de versiones).
Sus portadas están diseñadas por el  conocido diseñador gráfico Yoshitaka Amano,colaborador de la saga "Final Fantasy" o el manga "Vampire Hunter D".
Sus letras hablan sobre romances,fantasía y temática medieval.

In 2010 joined the band the singer Matatoshi Ono (Jan,29th 1967) and the bassist Taka.
They have recorded eleven studio albums and six EP's (three of them of covers).
Their art covers are designed by well-known designer graphic Yoshitaka Amano,collaborator of the saga "Final Fantasy" or the manga "Vampire Hunter D".
Their lyrics talk about romance,fantasy or medieval themes.
