LEATHERWOLF

Leatherwolf es una banda de Heavy Metal formada en Huntington Beach,California (Estados Unidos) en 1981.
Fue una de las bandas pioneras en usar tres guitarristas en una formación de Heavy Metal.
Tienen cinco álbums de estudio,y curiosamente los dos primeros llevan el nombre de la banda. Cuando fueron fichados por Island Records,el sello consideró que el primer álbum "Leatherwolf" de 1984 eran demos,y llamaron también "Leatherwolf" a su debút en 1987 con Island Records. Después grabaron "Street Ready" en 1989. En 2006 "World Asylum" y en 2007 "New World Asylum".
En 1988 grabaron el tema "Alone In The Night" para la banda sonora de la pelicula "El Retorno De Los Muertos Vivientes,parte 2".
La formación actual es: Michael Oliveri (cantante y guitarra) de 1981 a 2004,y de 2007 a ahora,Dean Roberts (bateria) de 1981 a 1990,y de 1999 a ahora,Patrick Guyton (bajo) desde 2008,Greg Erba (guitarra) desde 2009,y Rob Math (guitarra) desde 2011.
Por el grupo han pasado los cantantes Jeff Martin (Racer X,ex-Badlands,ex-M.S.G.,ex-UFO) y Wade Black (ex-Crimson Glory,ex-Seven Witches).

They have released five studio albums,and curiously the first two are self-titled albums. When they were signed by Island Records,the label considered that the first album "Leatherwolf" of 1984 is a demo album,and also was called "Leatherwolf" their debut album with Island Records in 1987. Later they recorded "Street Ready" in 1989. In 2006 "World Asylum",and in 2007 "New World Asylum".
In 1988 they recorded the song "Alone In The Night" for the soundtrack of the film "Return Of The Living Dead,part 2".
The current line up is: Michael Oliveri (lead singer and guitars) from 1981 to 2004,and from 2007 to present,Dean Roberts (drums) from 1981 to 1990,and from 1999 to present,Patrick Guyton (bass) since 2008,Greg Erba (guitars) since 2009,and Rob Math (guitars) since 2011.
By the band have passed the singers Jeff Martin (Racer X,ex-Badlands,ex-M.S.G.,ex-UFO) and Wade Black (ex-Crimson Glory,ex-Seven Witches).
