NOCTURNAL RITES

Nocturnal Rites se formaron en Umea (Suecia) en 1990 con el nombre de Necronomic,aunque pronto cambiaron de nombre.
En sus inicios tocaban Death Metal. Después de grabar cuatro demos,pasaron a tocar Power Metal/Heavy Metal Melódico.
Hasta la fecha tienen grabados ocho álbums de estudio,el último "The 8th Sin" en 2007.
Sus portadas las diseña el artista Sueco Pär Olofsson (Revocation,Onslaught,Nightmare,Exodus,etc...).
La formación actual es: los miembros originales desde 1990,Fredrik Mannberg (guitarras) y Nils Eriksson (bajo). Desde 1998,el bateria Owe Lingvall. Desde 2000,el cantante Jonny Lindqvist. Y desde 2010,el guitarrista Chris Rörland (Sabaton).
