Formados en 1985 en Seattle (Washington) Estados Unidos,esta banda comenzó tocando Power Metal,para cambiar posteriormente al Groove/Progresivo Metal.
Grabaron dos LP's,"Refuge Denied" en 1987 (producido por el cantante/guitarrista de Megadeth,Dave Mustaine) y "Into The Mirror Black" en 1989. En 1992 se separaron.
Tras crear la banda Nevermore,que duró desde 1992 hasta 2011,los miembros orginales Warrel Dane (cantante) y Jim Sheppard (bajo),se volvieron a juntar en 2010. Volvieron a unirse los otros dos miembros originales Lenny Rutledge (guitarras) y Dave Budbill (bateria),los cuales no participaron en Nevermore.
Han grabado desde entonces "The Year Of The Sun Died" en 2014,junto al nuevo miembro Brad Hull (guitarras).
